Zero Foodprint welcomes Bloom Carneros to our community of ZFP Members! Bloom’s commitment to ‘honest food amongst good company’ now extends past their restaurant to farmers and ranchers working to restore our climate. As the first ZFP Business Member in the town of Sonoma, Bloom Carneros is setting the bar for the entire Sonoma restaurant community to take bold actions that grow better food and build back healthy soil.

Bloom Carneros is an outdoor restaurant and gathering place in the heart of Sonoma Valley. We serve a menu rooted in locality, with an element of surprise. Bloom's name comes from a reflection of serving locally rooted produce, and seasonally driven dishes using selections from your favorite neighborhood proprietors. Whether it’s the thoughtfulness, yet unpretentious approach to food, or the open, airy atmosphere, Bloom is about sharing honest food amongst good company. Our outdoor restaurant resides on a half acre garden tucked off highways 121 and 12 in the Carneros AVVA. If walls could talk, this historic property would have quite a few stories to tell. Once home to Lazy D, Fords Cafe, and Schellville Grill, it’s lived many lives and been one of the longest serving restaurants in Sonoma Valley. Now with new life and energy, we welcome you to Bloom Carneros.

  • Zero Foodprint is all about this thing called Collective Regeneration.

    We’re convinced that we can fight climate change and grow better food with better farming practices. These practices take time, labor, and resources to establish, and historically farms have been expected to bear the brunt of the financial risk to change their practices. After decades of climate initiatives, it’s become clear that nobody can make this transformation on their own.

    Zero Foodprint pools contributions from all different parts of the food system to make dollars go further. We then equitably distribute those funds via grants to farmers. By directly funding better farming practices, your business’ contributions can help solve the climate crisis while attracting climate-conscious customers and increasing employee satisfaction.

We believe that by regenerating soil, local food economies can play a critical role in reversing the global climate crisis. We work with food and beverage businesses, philanthropy, and government to bring the next dollar to implement the next regenerative practice on the next acre.
