Dilemma Series #1 (June 2022)
Is there a Role for Carbon Credits in Accelerating a Fair, Net-Zero World?
“Carbon markets – the transparency, regulation and ethics surrounding them as well as their efficacy – have long been a source of controversy. In June 2022, a diverse group of leaders gathered in New York to explore the challenges and opportunities of carbon credits. Could they effectively direct capital to natural solutions and local communities as well as help businesses support larger climate goals? Are they a part of the solution we need or are they doing more harm than good?”

How do We Get the World off Fossil Fuels Quickly and Fairly?
”The science is abundantly clear: The world’s reliance on fossil fuels endangers our planet, and we need to take urgent action to safeguard our collective future. But how do we accelerate the clean-energy transition while prioritizing climate justice and energy security for all? In October 2022, a diverse group of cross-sector leaders gathered in London–in the midst of a global energy crisis–to explore this critical, and often divisive, question.”

Dilemma Series #3 (June 2024)
Can we Nourish 10 Billion People While Restoring the Earth?
“Our dilemma is to turn the challenge of providing healthy food for everyone into solutions for regenerating nature and society. It’s a question riddled with competing views, from how to address food insecurity and waste to the myriad cultures surrounding food production and consumption. At the same time, the food we eat is the single biggest impact we have on the planet, and it’s not just on climate change. Our goal is to reframe the conflicts with clarity, lay the groundwork for progress and transform arguments into actions that can turn food into an extraordinary force for restoring our world.”

About Zero Foodprint
Zero Foodprint (ZFP) is a nonprofit organization restoring the climate, one acre at a time. We believe that by regenerating soil, local food economies can play a critical role in reversing the global climate crisis. We work with food and beverage businesses, philanthropy and government to bring the next dollar to implement the next regenerative practice on the next acre. This regenerative economy benefits every person who grows food, every person who sells food, and every person on this planet who eats food.
